Job Description:

Join our team as a CVI (Cardiac Cath / IR) Technologist at Mercyhealth Javon Bea Hospitals in Rockford, IL, for a contract that offers a blend of clinical expertise and procedural precision. This role involves working in the cardiac catheterization and interventional radiology settings, with responsibilities including patient preparation, equipment setup, contrast administration, and operating imaging modalities such as fluoroscopy and ultrasound. The position is perfect for technologists comfortable handling all aspects of cardiovascular intervention procedures, from vascular access to image acquisition and post-procedure patient care, with an added twist of working in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment. Expect to be part of a team committed to high-quality, sterile technique, radiation safety, and real-time diagnostic support, with some on-call duties to keep your skills sharp and your experience well-rounded.
