Job Description:

Join our team as an Adult Respiratory Therapist at Ashley River Tower in Charleston, where you'll work in a busy, adult-focused ICU setting. This 13-week contract involves three 12-hour night shifts per week, giving you a chance to experience the hospital's vibrant atmosphere during the overnight hours. You'll be responsible for delivering advanced respiratory care for critically ill patients, including those undergoing complex cardiac and thoracic surgeries, heart and lung transplants, and patients requiring ECMO, IABP, or Impella support. Your expertise with ventilator management, critical care protocols, and state-of-the-art equipment will be essential. This assignment stands out because of its focus on adult critical care in a magnet-recognized teaching hospital, with a chance to make a real impact amid a collaborative team. Expect to float within scope occasionally to the main hospital, maintaining consistency with policies and charting systems.
