Job Description:

Join a staffed and modern Labor & Delivery unit on a 13-week travel contract. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., delivering approximately 2,600 babies annually. You will be supporting patients through the full labor, delivery, and recovery process in recently renovated rooms equipped with the latest amenities. Expect to facilitate skin-to-skin contact, support breastfeeding, and manage various pain relief options including epidurals and nitrous oxide. The unit features private rooms with support accommodations, hydrotherapy labor tubs, and operates a Level IIB Special Care Nursery. This is a unique opportunity to work in a bustling, state-of-the-art environment that prioritizes comfort and bonding for both patients and providers. You’ll be instrumental in providing specialized labor support in a fast-paced yet rewarding setting.
