Job Description:

Join a welcoming Medical Surgical unit in Kerrville, Texas, known for its vibrant community and proximity to Texas's renowned wine country. This role offers the opportunity to work with a compassionate team in a newly constructed facility that values kindness and collaboration. You'll be responsible for providing direct patient care in a short-stay setting, with experience in med/surg and telemetry encouraged. The night shift (3 nights a week, 12 hours each) allows for a good work-life balance while immersing you in a supportive environment. Floating to other units such as 2W, CDU, and ARU is required, making adaptability a key trait for success. If you are a kind, caring professional with at least two years of experience, this assignment is a great fit. First-time travelers with sufficient experience are welcome to apply. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Expect a patient ratio of 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night, with a contract lasting 13 weeks, offering you consistent and meaningful work. In this role, you’ll be an integral part of a team dedicated to providing excellent patient care and support in a dynamic hospital environment.
