Job Description:

Join San Juan Regional Medical Center in Farmington, NM, for a 13-week contract working on a nephrology unit that extends from the Med/Surg floors. As an RN, you will be responsible for caring for geriatric and adult patients with diagnoses such as ESRD, Peritoneal Dialysis, and Hemodialysis. The shift is 12 hours days, offering a schedule of 36 guaranteed hours per week, with at least two weekend shifts per month. This assignment provides a chance to experience a well-equipped unit with patient ratios from 1:4 to 1:6, utilizing Cerner electronic health records and modern equipment including VS machines and bladder scanners. Your role will include performing treatments, assessments, and collaborating closely with a supervisory team led by Derek Bluto RN. Nephrology experience is preferred, but not required, making this an excellent opportunity for RNs looking to expand their skills in a vibrant hospital setting.
