Job Description:

This travel contract offers an opportunity to work on a busy Medical/Surgical and Telemetry unit in West Burlington, Iowa. The role requires self-study of telemetry strips upon acceptance, with a basic dysrhythmia test out during the first week—pass it to begin your assignment. You'll utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for geriatric, adult, and medical/surgical populations, all while collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team. The position is perfect for nurses looking for a rewarding experience in a supportive setting, with shifts covering 12-hour nights. Ongoing opportunities for overtime provide added flexibility to your schedule. ACLS certification is required, and experience with Cerner EMR is essential. While there’s no regular call rotation, occasional on-call duties may occur during low census periods—be prepared to respond and arrive on-site within one hour.
