Job Description:

Join a 13-week travel assignment as a Chemo Registered Nurse in the charming city of Matthews, North Carolina. This role offers an opportunity to work exclusively in an outpatient oncology clinic, administering chemotherapy and managing central lines for adult patients with hematology and medical oncology diagnoses. You'll work 8-hour day shifts from 7:45 AM to 5:15 PM, with a dedicated team handling pharmacy mixing and tech responsibilities, allowing you to focus on patient-specific procedures. The setting includes ten infusion chairs following social distancing protocols, and you'll familiarize yourself with systems like Pyxis, Epic, and Zoom. This assignment is perfect for nurses with at least two years of oncology experience, including chemo administration and central line expertise, and certifications such as BCLS and ONS Chemo/Bio Card are mandatory. Preferred candidates will have OCN certification. RTO (return to office) requests are not permitted, so please plan accordingly. A comprehensive eight-hour orientation at the start helps you acclimate smoothly to the clinic's processes. Experience working with ambulatory infusion pumps and flexibility to float between clinics in Matthews and nearby Ballantyne adds to the role's diversity. Be prepared for pre-shift COVID screening as per employer guidelines, and scrub uniforms are not provided.
