Job Description:

Join our team as a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in Lander, Wyoming, where you'll perform diagnostic CT exams using state-of-the-art equipment. In this role, you'll verify patient identities, review medical records for appropriateness, and conduct interviews to gather medical histories and assess risk factors such as medications and pregnancy. Your expertise will guide you as you explain procedures, including potential side effects and follow-up care, ensuring patients are well-informed throughout their experience. You'll set up imaging equipment, acquire high-quality images according to protocol, and review the images, making initial observations and communicating findings to radiologists. The position requires the ability to recognize and respond to medical emergencies as they arise and to provide post-care instructions as prescribed. You'll also participate in quality improvement efforts such as patient flow and satisfaction initiatives, and support the education of residents and new technologists. Flexibility to take call or standby shifts will be necessary, and you may be called upon to perform Radiologic Technologist duties as needed. This assignment offers an engaging opportunity to apply your technical skills in a busy clinical setting with a supportive team.
