Job Description:

This travel assignment calls for a Registered Nurse with at least two years of acute care experience, specifically in a telemetry unit. You'll cover 12-hour night shifts, working to monitor and respond to patients with cardiac conditions, including lethal rhythms, after passing a required EKG rhythm interpretation exam with at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms. The role involves working with a diverse patient population, including those undergoing gender affirmation surgery, so comfort with this demographic is helpful. You'll float within units of similar or lower acuity, with the opportunity to utilize skills in telemetry monitoring and Cerner electronic health records. No on-call duties, and while scrubs are not provided, navy blue uniforms are standard. This is a 13-week contract with a commitment of 36 hours per week, providing a chance to immerse yourself in a fast-paced, specialized care environment.
