Job Description:

Join a rewarding stepdown and telemetry RN contract at a well-respected hospital in Henderson, Kentucky. This role involves working 12-hour night shifts in a 10-bed stepdown unit and a 15-bed telemetry unit, providing critical care to patients with conditions like sepsis, CHF, COPD, DKA, and post-surgical patients. You will interpret tele-interpretation protocols, initiate or titrate insulin, heparin, and cardiac drips, and manage complex patient needs in a fast-paced environment. The assignment offers an opportunity to experience a smaller, cohesive team with seasoned staff, while applying your skills in EPIC charting and performing advanced assessments. Cross-campus float within Indiana locations might be required, demanding adaptability and quick thinking. This contract offers guaranteed hours of 36 per week, with options for 48, over 13 weeks, making it a focused yet varied travel experience.
