Job Description:

This travel healthcare assignment involves working in an operating room setting with a focus on a variety of surgical procedures. The role requires hands-on experience with all areas of the OR, including vascular, general, orthopedic, neuro, eyes, and ENT surgeries, excluding open heart cases. The position offers the opportunity to cross-train into Endoscopy, working on both OR suites and Endo rooms, performing around 25 cases daily. The schedule features 12-hour day shifts over four days, with a rotating call schedule that includes weeknights and weekends, involving up to 24 hours per call period. The role also includes operating advanced equipment like Baxter pumps and robotic systems such as Phillips Dynomap and DaVinci, making it ideal for candidates with robotics experience. All staff must hold ACLS certification due to sedation practices, and experience with the DaVinci Robot is highly preferred. This assignment provides a varied and engaging surgical environment focused on a diverse case load, with a team that values skill and adaptability.
