Job Description:

This contract position offers an engaging opportunity for professionals with cardiac cath lab experience. You'll step into a fast-paced Cardiac Cath Lab environment, handling a variety of coronary, vascular, peripheral, EP, and neuro intervention cases. Your role involves assisting with procedural processes, moderate sedation, airway management, and managing cardiac drips like Integrilin and dopamine. Excellent familiarity with cath lab protocols and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (through the AHA) are essential. The schedule features 10-hour shifts, with an average caseload of 10 to 22 cases daily. This assignment is perfect for experienced radiology nurses skilled in conscious sedation and comfortable working with a dedicated team of techs and support staff. The position emphasizes procedural support rather than scrubbing, offering a focused, hands-on role in a well-equipped environment. You'll contribute to a critical care unit designated as a STEMI Center, with a rotation of call duties that include urgent inpatient and emergent cases. This assignment combines professional challenge with opportunity in a setting where your expertise will help save lives.
