Job Description:

This respiratory therapy role offers the opportunity to work in a prestigious teaching hospital, primarily focusing on managing patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions. You'll be scheduled for three 12-hour daytime shifts weekly, providing continuity in patient care while having the option to experience the bustling environment of one of the region's largest hospitals. Expect to perform airway management, including intubation, suctioning, and extubation, alongside ventilator management such as troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and weaning from mechanical ventilation. Occasionally, you may be asked to precept students, adding an educational component to your day. If you enjoy a mix of technical challenges and teamwork, this assignment will keep you engaged and sharpen your skills in a dynamic ICU and floor setting.

Duration: 26 weeks, working approximately 36 hours per week with an estimated weekly gross pay of $1,940.84.
