Job Description:

Join a busy medical ICU and progressive care unit, where you'll care for ventilated patients, manage IV drips such as vasopressors, sedation, and paralytics, and assist with intubations and line placements. The role involves monitoring critically ill patients with diagnoses including sepsis, respiratory failure, renal failure, myocardial infarctions, pulmonary embolism, and pneumonia. You'll work in a mixed acuity environment, primarily caring for progressive patients but also supporting ICU-level cases. Expect to utilize Phillips heart monitors, Epic EMR, Pyxis, EKG machines, and dopplers. This contract is a great opportunity for experienced critical care nurses to apply their skills in a stimulating setting that challenges and rewards those who thrive on flexibility and rapid decision-making.
