Job Description:

Join a specialized Cardiac Tele Registered Nurse role in Omaha, Nebraska, where you'll work in a fast-paced, 49-bed Heart & Vascular Unit caring for complex cardiovascular patients, including those with heart and lung transplants and Ventricular Assist Devices (LVADs). This contract offers the chance to float across various units within the hospital, providing diverse professional experiences. Expect 12-hour days on a day shift schedule, with a commitment of 36 hours weekly over 13 weeks. This assignment is perfect for experienced RNs ready to bring their expertise to a busy, specialty medical-surgical environment, supporting team needs across multiple units with a flexible float policy.

Job Specifics:

Location: Omaha, Nebraska
Shift: 12-hour days (07:00 - 19:30)
Duration: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week
Travelers must be more than 100 miles from the facility; pending licenses accepted, with a six-week wait if license is not in hand at submission. RTO restrictions allow up to two weeks with proper submission. Travelers are expected to work two out of three major holidays, including Saturday and Sunday shifts on weekends. This role requires at least 2 years of experience in a large, urban hospital setting and proficiency with EPIC charting. BLS and ACLS are required; NIH and CPI are preferred. Expect to float frequently to various units within the hospital, including Neuro, Trauma, Observation, and others, supporting staffing needs across the facility’s diverse departments.
