Job Description:

Join a dedicated ICU team as a travel Registered Nurse specializing in intensive care. In this role, you’ll be working in a 10-bed Open Heart Intensive Care Unit (OHICU) that manages critically ill and postoperative cardiothoracic, cardiovascular, and general surgery patients. Your responsibilities will include invasive hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, arrhythmia intervention, and advanced cardiac procedures. To succeed, you'll need to pass an EKG exam on your first attempt—so bring your A-game! This assignment offers a unique opportunity to gain experience with complex cardiac support devices like VADs and ECMO while floating across various ICU and med-surg floors as needed. Expect a shift of three 12-hour days each week, providing a balanced work schedule over a 13-week contract.
