Job Description:

Join a well-regarded Med/Surg unit in Sheboygan, WI, for a 13-week travel contract where you'll focus on a variety of general medical-surgical cases including ortho procedures like hip and knee replacements, spinal surgeries, and complex medical management of conditions such as CHF, COPD, and multi-organ issues. This assignment offers the chance to get hands-on experience with wound care, dressing changes, wound vacs, chest tubes, and stable trach management. You'll utilize skills like PIV starts and administering drips for insulin and heparin, all while working closely with supportive staff including CNAs, RTs, and hospitalists. As a traveler, you'll experience a rewarding role in a small but busy unit that values flexibility and initiative, with an environment that combines professionalism with a touch of camaraderie, making your stint both productive and enjoyable.
