Job Description:

This 13-week contract offers an opportunity to work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at North Austin Medical Center, a busy and well-equipped unit with 97 beds and a team of around 200 staff members. As an RN in this role, you will be taking on the night shift, providing specialized care to fragile newborns with a patient ratio of approximately 3-4 infants per nurse. You'll use equipment such as medfusion pumps, Alaris infusion devices, and GE monitors, all while adhering to the hospital's policies on dress code and protocols. The position emphasizes the importance of prior NICU experience and a friendly, compassionate demeanor. This assignment includes no on-call requirements and offers a balanced weekly commitment of 36 hours, ensuring time for rest and exploration.
