Job Description:

Join a hospital in Seattle for a 13-week pediatric Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN contract where you'll be the crucial link between the recovery phase and the next steps for young patients. This role involves working four 10-hour shifts per week, primarily during daytime hours with a rotating schedule, navigating both Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery care. You'll handle a diverse array of pediatric patients, including those requiring central line management and trached patients. While the work can be intense, the setting offers the chance to leverage varied PACU experience in a pediatric-focused environment—and perhaps pick up some additional skills like IV starts, vents, or working with acutely ill children. Being part of this team means you'll contribute directly to the recovery journey, ensuring safety, stability, and comfort for young patients during their critical post-op phase.
