Job Description:

This Medical Surgical Registered Nurse position offers the opportunity to work in a busy Level I trauma center with a magnet designation. You will be responsible for managing PICC lines, starting IVs, and potentially caring for trach and laryngectomy patients. With shifts lasting 12 hours during the day, you’ll experience a schedule that allows for meaningful patient interaction while maintaining work-life balance. Float may be required within your scope to meet the facility’s needs, and experience with Cerner charting is preferred but not mandatory. The role provides a chance to enhance your skills in a reputable acute care environment with a diverse caseload and the flexibility to work every other weekend. This assignment is ideal for experienced nurses willing to take on up to a 1:7 patient ratio if needed, and those eager to learn new procedures and patient types in a fast-paced setting.
