Job Description:

This ICU contract offers a unique opportunity to work in a busy 18-bed unit that combines ICU and step-down care. You'll be responsible for managing critically ill patients, including initiating and titrating sedatives, paralytics, cardiac drips, and insulin, as well as following sepsis protocols and post-ROSC therapeutic hypothermia care. The role involves 12-hour night shifts, with a focus on strong neuro assessment skills, NIHSS testing, and tele/EKG interpretation. Expect to float to step-down level care if needed. The position demands resilience, a strong work ethic, and excellent critical thinking, ideal for experienced ICU RNs seeking a challenging yet rewarding assignment.
