Job Description:

Step into the operating room as an Operating Room Registered Nurse at IU Health, where you'll be orchestrating surgical procedures across a variety of specialties including Orthopedics, Robotics, GYN, Thoracic, ENT, Urology, and Plastics. This role features charge pay, adding a $3.00 bump per hour, and is open to first-time travelers with proper licensing or fingerprint submission. You'll work weekday days from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with a call requirement of 40-60 hours spread over a 6-week schedule. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of circulating experience in operating room settings, including experience with specialized equipment like the DaVinci XI robotic system. This assignment offers a unique chance to be involved in complex surgeries like liver resections and Whipple procedures, all within a hospital featuring approximately 70 to 80 beds and a dedicated perioperative team.
