Job Description:

Step into a travel CT/XR Technologist contract supporting a 10-bed Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) in Valparaiso, IN. You’ll work with a strong ED team and follow current, well-documented scan protocols on a GE CT Scanner, with Phillips XR, Vitrea, Merge PACS, and a MedRad contrast injector. This assignment is designed for a technologist who can confidently handle CT and XR with proficiency—especially during the overnight window when you’re working independently from 11P–7A.

Your nights run 12-hour shifts (7P–7A), Friday through Sunday. While the XR tech is available until 11PM, you’ll cover CT/XR responsibilities independently for the remainder of the shift, including support for the Inpatient Rehab Unit and Regency unit (typically low imaging volume). Cerner EMR is preferred, and the department maintains up-to-date protocols to keep your workflow smooth.

Weather:

Expect a mix of cool evenings and mild-to-chilly daytime conditions, with occasional breezes and a chance of light precipitation. Layers are helpful, especially for night shifts.
