Job Description:

Join a rewarding occupational therapy contract where you will be involved in planning, evaluating, and implementing personalized treatment activities under physician supervision. In this role, you'll interpret physician referrals, conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ skills—ranging from independent living to social and psychosocial abilities—and develop tailored treatment plans with clear short- and long-term goals. You'll also assist patients in using adaptive equipment, orthotic devices, and body mechanics techniques to improve their daily function. A key part of your work will be educating patients and families on progress and discharge planning, including equipment ordering and home therapy guidance. Supervision of students may be part of your responsibilities, adding a teaching element to your day.
