Job Description:

Join our specialized oncology nursing team for a 13-week contract in Peoria, Illinois, focusing on the treatment of cancer patients, including those with lymphoma, leukemia, and hematology conditions. This role involves administering IV chemotherapy and immunotherapy medications, monitoring for side effects, and managing patient care in private 19-bed units. You'll work 12-hour night shifts, with rotations every other weekend and holiday, providing critical support during complex treatments. The position offers a chance to deepen expertise in oncology nursing while working alongside dedicated charge RNs, PCTs, and a multidisciplinary team. Your experience with chemotherapy administration and IV therapies will be essential, and you'll help ensure patient safety and comfort through precise medication handling and patient monitoring.
