Job Description:

Join our team as a Respiratory Therapist on a 13-week travel assignment at LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia. This role offers a chance to work primarily during 12-hour night shifts in a bustling facility equipped with advanced respiratory equipment such as EPOC Blood Gases, PB 840, ReVel, LTV, and V60, supporting over 500 beds. You'll handle procedures like blood gas analysis, CPT, nocturnal pulse oximetry, and ABG sampling, with preference given to candidates experienced in vent and Bipap management and ICU settings. The unit thrives on teamwork, with about 30 staff members across various shifts, including a dedicated charge therapist on each shift. This assignment provides an opportunity to hone your skills in a high-volume, fast-paced environment while contributing to patient support through vital respiratory therapies and equipment management. Expect to work three rotating 12-hour night shifts weekly, with weekend and on-call rotations.
