Job Description:

Join this esteemed teaching hospital in Concord, NC, for a 13-week travel contract working 12-hour night shifts on the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). As a vital member of the nursing team, you'll focus on patients with diagnoses such as heart failure, chest pain, post-cardiac catheter care, COPD, and medical overflow cases. Your days (or nights) will involve managing complex cardiac rhythms, performing PIV starts, managing chest tubes and surgical drains, and administering non-titratable cardiac drips. The unit emphasizes collaboration, and you'll find support from CNAs, RTs, and resource nurses, ensuring your workload remains focused and manageable. This role offers an engaging opportunity to refine your skills in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment that values professionalism and teamwork.
