Job Description:

Join us as a PACU RN on a 13-week contract based in Washington, DC. This role involves working three 12-hour day shifts per week, with weekend on-call responsibilities that add a unique rhythm to your schedule. You'll be monitoring post-operative patients emerging from anesthesia, assessing their recovery, and providing updates to the medical team. Your expertise in handling patients' vital signs, managing side effects, and administering medications will be essential in ensuring smooth recoveries. Expect to update electronic medical records and educate patients and families on post-surgical care. This assignment offers a chance to experience the fast-paced environment of a level I trauma center, working independently with critical thinking skills and a strong focus on patient safety.
