Job Description:

Join our team as an ER RN in Albemarle, NC, where you'll be tackling a diverse mix of pediatric and adult cases including COPD, CHF, chest pain, MI, stroke, and arrhythmias. This role offers the chance to enhance your skills with cardiac rhythm interpretation, critical care drips, vent management, and conscious sedation, all within a facility that proudly features an advanced primary stroke center. While the setting is busy and fast-paced, the opportunity to work alongside dedicated hospitalists, ED physicians, and a supportive team—including 24/7 RT and centralized telemetry—makes for a rewarding experience. Expect to float regionally as needed, adapting to various facilities within your scope. The schedule includes 12-hour night shifts over a 13-week contract, with weekends scheduled every other week and an expectation of working 75% of holidays. The work environment is technical and equipment-rich, utilizing Epic EMR, Phillips monitors, and Alaris IV pumps to support patient care. This contract offers a chance to expand your emergency expertise in a community with friendly people and a welcoming vibe, all while floating through different units and maintaining a steady, engaging workload.
