Job Description:

This contract position calls for a skilled Medical Laboratory Technologist to join a busy hospital laboratory. The role involves working the night shift from 11 PM to 7:30 AM for a duration of 13 weeks, providing an excellent opportunity to experience the fast-paced environment of a large facility. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of recent experience in a similar setting, with proficiency in using Sysmex and CellaVision systems. You'll handle a variety of complex specimens, including turbid samples and abnormal cells, often in a laboratory that supports large neonatal units. Expect to perform differential counts accurately and manage challenging samples efficiently, all while contributing to high-quality patient diagnostics. This assignment offers a chance to sharpen your skills in a demanding but rewarding environment, making every night shift count.
