Job Description:

Join the team as a Labor & Delivery RN on a 13-week contract in Farmington, New Mexico, working 12-hour night shifts. You'll be delivering newborns and caring for mothers in a well-equipped Level II nursery, with an emphasis on postpartum couplet care and fetal monitoring. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to experience a community hospital setting with a regional mission, performing duties that align with industry standards while enjoying a supportive environment free of resident physicians. Expect to handle approximately 75 deliveries monthly, with responsibilities including managing labor, addressing GDM and hypertension, and caring for neonates in a 17-bed maternity unit with advanced fetal monitoring equipment. Your expertise in cervical exams, infant delivery, and neonatal stabilization will be key to providing quality care in this engaging setting.
