Job Description:

Join a specialized surgical team in Crowley, LA, for a 13-week travel assignment as an Operating Room Nurse. In this role, you'll be supporting a diverse range of procedures including orthopedics, urology, GYN, ENT, podiatry, dental, and breast surgeries. Your workdays will consist of 8-hour shifts, with a typical schedule from 06:00 to 14:30, and a weekly commitment of 40 hours. You'll work alongside advanced equipment such as the DaVince XI Robot and Velyx Ortho robot, contributing to complex surgeries like total knee arthroplasty. Your experience with Epic and your ability to recover your own patients on call back will be key. Expect to be part of a team that occasionally responds to emergency situations by joining an "Emergency Team," with specific details communicated during events. This assignment offers a hands-on opportunity to be integral to a busy OR, performing circulator duties and supporting patient recovery through the entire perioperative process.
