Job Description:

This contract position involves assisting surgeons during a variety of surgical procedures including OB, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Dental, and Urology. As a certified first assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring surgeries run smoothly and safely by handling tissues, providing exposure, suturing, and maintaining hemostasis. The role offers a chance to work closely with surgical teams in a setting where your advanced knowledge of anatomy and operative techniques makes a real difference. The schedule features 10-hour daytime shifts with no weekend work, and you'll be on call only one weekend per month and one weeknight, with no charges. This assignment provides a unique opportunity to refine your surgical skills across multiple specialties while enjoying predictable hours and a supportive team environment.
