Job Description:

Join our occupational therapy team at Magic Valley Hospital in Twin Falls for an engaging acute inpatient and rehab assignment. As an OT, you'll work primarily in the rehab unit and occasionally in the ICU, treating a diverse range of patients with orthopedic, neurological, and medical conditions, including stroke and complex orthopedic cases. This role involves managing a typical caseload of 10 to 12 patients daily, utilizing EPIC EMR, and collaborating with rehab aides. The schedule consists of four 10-hour days, with rotating weekends and as-needed holiday coverage. Be prepared for a quick onboarding process with 2-3 days of department orientation. This assignment offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in a stimulating clinical environment while enjoying the scenic surroundings of southern Idaho. The ideal candidate has at least one year of supervised licensure experience in acute inpatient or rehab settings, with flexibility for first-time travelers.
