Job Description:

Join a team of experienced PACU Registered Nurses at a busy outpatient surgery center in Akron. In this role, you'll focus on post-anesthesia recovery for patients undergoing joint procedures, hand surgery, urology, general surgery, and endoscopy. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with most patients discharged the same day, so your days will typically start at 9:00 am and end around 5:30 pm. Occasionally, you may stay longer if a patient isn't discharged yet. This assignment offers a great opportunity to experience outpatient surgical recovery in a fast-paced setting without on-call responsibilities. You'll work closely with the care team to monitor patients as they recover from anesthesia, provide post-operative instructions, and ensure safe discharges. Your expertise in PACU recovery and familiarity with Epic charting will be essential for a smooth workflow.
