Job Description:

Join our team as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse on a 13-week contract that offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-volume hospital setting. This role involves providing comprehensive care to adult patients undergoing a variety of medical and orthopedic procedures, including trauma, oncology, and complex orthopedic cases. You'll be responsible for managing post-op care, administering medications, interpreting EKGs, and coordinating patient education—all during 12-hour night shifts. Experience with EPIC electronic health records and Dysrhythmia management is required. This assignment provides the chance to further develop your skills in a Level I Trauma Center while working with a talented team of healthcare professionals. Note: a playful twist—your night shifts could feel like a restful glow in the night sky compared to the busy day hours! Be prepared for a rewarding experience supporting patient recovery out of bed just four hours post-op and coordinating with a highly skilled team through a demanding yet gratifying schedule.
