Job Description:

This 13-week travel assignment is in a fast-paced cardiovascular step-down unit that offers a unique glimpse into the world of specialized cardiac care. You will work 12-hour day shifts, monitoring a variety of post-procedure and low-acuity critical care patients, including those with arterial lines, PA catheters, and LVADs. The role requires you to stay sharp in rhythm identification and critical assessment, supporting a high patient turnover environment that is both challenging and rewarding. Unlike typical ICUs, this unit does not handle ventilators or advanced devices like Impellas, making it perfect for honing assessment skills and critical thinking in a cardiovascular setting.
