Job Description:

This ultrasound technician role involves performing a range of diagnostic cardiac and vascular exams using high-frequency sound waves to assist physicians in identifying abnormalities that lead to accurate patient diagnoses. The position offers a blend of technical skill and patient interaction, with responsibilities including preparing exam rooms, obtaining patient history, explaining procedures, positioning patients correctly, and ensuring high-quality imaging. The role also emphasizes thorough documentation, coordination with physician teams, and maintenance of ultrasound equipment. Expect to work a variety of variable shifts during the week, including on-call and Saturday coverage, providing a dynamic schedule that keeps your days interesting and your skills sharp.
