Job Description:

Join a vibrant Cath Lab team as a Radiology / Cardiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Springfield, Illinois. This role involves performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures within a Level I trauma acute care hospital. Your days will be dedicated to 12-hour shifts from 06:30 to 19:00, providing detailed imaging and assisting with a variety of complex cardiac interventions such as stent placements, PCI, and device implantations. It’s a technically demanding position that offers the opportunity to work with advanced equipment like Cerner charting systems and perform procedures that make a significant difference in patient outcomes. As a float-free role, you’ll focus solely on your scope of practice without the need to cover other departments, and on-call duties are required as needed. Prior experience in Diagnostic Cardiac Cath labs, familiarity with infection control, and handling adult and older adult patients are key to success here.
