Job Description:

Join a busy outpatient imaging department in Bakersfield, CA, as a specialized radiologic technologist. This 13-week contract involves working ten-hour days in a fast-paced environment that handles everything from brain and abdominal scans to spine, pelvis, and extremities. The role requires performing high-volume studies—85 to 100 per day—using state-of-the-art GE, Phillips, and Siemens scanners, including Canon 16 and 80 Slice models. You'll work under the supervision of a Lead Tech, with ample opportunity to sharpen your skills, experience a professional atmosphere, and contribute to diverse imaging procedures such as biopsies, drainage, angio, and cryoablation. The department uses Radnet and Merge PACS systems, providing valuable exposure to popular EMR software. This position emphasizes technical proficiency and workflow efficiency, making it ideal for a seasoned tech eager to make an impactful contribution.
