Job Description:

Join an interventional radiology technology team in Peoria, Illinois for a 13-week travel contract focused on Special Procedures/IR. You’ll rotate through multiple lab areas—supporting both pre-op workflow and phase 2 recovery activities—while preparing, assisting, and turning over procedure rooms for a steady caseload of approximately 20–30 cases per day. Your day will follow a 10-hour schedule, with 4 days per week at 40.0 hours, plus call requirements of 7–9 shifts in a 6-week period and holiday/call coverage as scheduled.

In this role, you’ll scrub in, pass supplies, set up procedure rooms, and complete breakdowns with precision. Documentation and charting workflows use Epic, and the team runs with Phillips monitors. You’ll receive unit-specific orientation for 3–5 days in the lab to help you ramp up smoothly alongside the charge RN coverage (0730–1700) supporting cases and lunch coverage.

The assignment includes OSF call off policy details: the equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty, and orientation includes 12 non-billable hours where guaranteed hours do not apply. (And yes—this is a place where procedures keep moving, so your prep and timing really matter.)
