Job Description:

Join a travel nursing assignment in Alexandria, Louisiana, supporting a Cardiac and Telemetry unit with a day shift schedule designed around steady, predictable coverage. You’ll work 12-hour days (7A–7P) with care responsibilities focused on routine and complex nursing needs for individuals monitored in a cardiac/telemetry setting (not a stepdown unit). This role emphasizes independent clinical judgment in a similar setting, thoughtful delegation, and delivering education that matches patient and family learning needs.

The assignment includes every other weekend coverage, no on-call requirement, and opportunities for long-term continuity since a temp-to-perm possibility is available. If you’re a registered nurse with current AHA BLS and AHA ACLS, this contract offers a clear path to make an immediate impact on your unit through consistent assessment, intervention, documentation, and evaluation—while balancing a schedule that stays firmly in daylight hours.
