Job Description:

Join a fast-paced adult/geriatric Medical Surgical unit in Hickory, North Carolina, as an experienced RN/LPN on a travel healthcare contract with 12-hour day shifts. This assignment focuses on comprehensive medical-surgical workflow, IV competency, and dependable coverage across a busy 18-bed floor—along with occasional float support to surgical, neuro, and intermediate care areas based on unit needs.

You’ll work with Cerner EHR, collaborating with a team that keeps pace with common diagnoses and treatment needs such as COPD exacerbations, GI bleed, sepsis/infections, pancreatitis, diabetic complications, falls/weakness, and more. If you have Cerner experience and enjoy contributing as a team player who stays steady when the floor is moving, this role offers a clear structure: 36 guaranteed hours per week with every-other-weekend coverage and no call requirements.

One small “Frye” perk: orientation schedule requirements apply—travelers must begin on one of the listed orientation start dates.
