Job Description:

Step into a specialized neuro-focused critical care unit on a travel healthcare contract in Burlington, MA, where your day-to-day work supports patients with complex neurological conditions. This 12-hour rotating role places you in a neuro critical care (NCCU) setting designed specifically for critically ill neurological patients rather than general ICU care—home to stroke care, brain hemorrhage and aneurysm management, traumatic brain injury support, spinal cord injury, post-neurosurgery recovery, severe seizures/status epilepticus, and advanced neurovascular conditions.

You’ll rotate between days and nights and join a multidisciplinary space built for close collaboration across neurology, neurosurgery, critical care, nursing, rehab, and more. Expect a unit structure of approximately 18 beds total, including both higher-acuity neuro ICU beds and neuro progressive/step-down beds. Floating to step-down may be required as staffing needs arise.

This assignment includes contract guarantee hours of 72 hours biweekly (guaranteed hours do not include any on-call time worked). You will need to complete a required Day 1 practice pass/fail exam (with two attempts during onboarding), and onboarding paperwork such as a BILH coversheet submission at the time of submission.
