Job Description:

Join a Level I trauma setting as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) supporting respiratory services and neuro diagnostics workflows across high-acuity adult and mixed-age units. This travel contract is built around 12-hour day shifts from 06:30 to 18:00, with a schedule designed for consistent coverage—plan to work all scheduled shifts, including weekends every other rotation.

In this role, you’ll apply critical care–level skills to manage ventilation needs, oxygen therapy, and monitoring for medically and neurologically complicated cases. Experience with adult trauma and burns is required, along with a strong background handling trach patients and spinal cord injury patients. You’ll also encounter complex sleep-disordered breathing cases, supporting units such as BPICU, SICU, MICU, and NSICU, while understanding that pediatric volume is typically small (peds experience preferred; training in pediatrics may be available).

A key part of what makes this assignment unique: the pace and acuity of a busy ED with ECLS transfers, paired with neuro-focused case complexity.
