Job Description:

Step into a travel contract built around CVICU as a Registered Nurse with experience in mixed ICU care. In this role, you will focus primarily on CVICU while also being prepared to support overflow patients as needed. You’ll care for fresh or cardiac patients, bringing your skills and clinical confidence to a fast-paced critical care setting with a clear cardiac focus.

Shift structure is day-focused, with 12-hour days running 07:00–19:30. Required certifications include ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and CALS, and you’ll be expected to integrate them consistently into your daily work. This assignment is designed for an RN who thrives on cardiac acuity, takes responsibility for competing priorities, and enjoys the distinctive pace of a CVICU-centered unit (with occasional overflow coverage).

Weather:

Expect typical late-season coastal conditions with comfortable daytime temperatures, cool evenings, and a mix of sunny and cloudy days. Occasional breezes and brief rain showers are common, so light layers are useful.
