Job Description:

Step into a Respiratory Therapist travel contract supporting specialized respiratory and neuro diagnostics work in a children’s acute care teaching hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. This is a 4x12 shift structure on night units (19:00–07:30), designed for clinicians who want consistent blocks of time to focus on pediatric critical care priorities, including NICU and/or PICU experience requirements.

You’ll bring your RRT credential and at least 2 years of experience to handle ED, level 1 trauma facility exposure, and pediatric-focused respiratory workflows—especially where NICU and pediatric critical care knowledge is essential. Weekends are needed every other schedule, with BCLS required and an emphasis on your NICU/PICU background. First-timers are accepted, and the role is not on-call.

With Epic charting and BLS/BCLS on deck, you’ll be part of a pediatric team that keeps care coordination tight—calm, focused, and ready for what the night brings.

Weather:

Expect generally mild to cool weather with a mix of dry days and occasional breezy conditions. Evenings can feel crisp, so a light warm layer is helpful.
