Job Description:

Join a medical-surgical team as a Registered Nurse on a travel contract in Dothan, Alabama. This day-shift assignment uses a 3x12 (07:00–19:00) schedule, with block scheduling that may be accommodated, so your workweek can be planned with more predictability. You’ll work within an ortho-focused setting that can include MS/tele overflow when needed—meaning you may care for patients requiring cardiac drip medications at times.

What makes this assignment unique is the medication-skill requirement: proficiency with drips such as Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone is expected. The team operates with a minimum 1:6/1:7 staffing ratio, and candidates are expected to have at least 1 year of experience. First-time travelers are welcome, and pending licensure is acceptable.

Certifications required: BLS and NIHSS; ACLS is preferred. If you’re looking for a travel role that combines consistent day hours with hands-on infusion/drip experience, this position is built for you.
