Job Description:

Join our team as a PACU Registered Nurse at a renowned Level I Trauma Center in St. Louis, Missouri. This 13-week contract offers four 10-hour shifts per week, primarily Monday through Friday, with rotating start times. You'll be responsible for recovery of adult, adolescent, and geriatric surgical patients following a variety of procedures, including neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedics, trauma, vascular, and more. The unit operates 24/7 with a dedicated transport team, and critical care experience is essential for managing patients requiring invasive monitoring, blood transfusions, and vasoactive medications. This assignment provides an opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment where your skills in critical care, post-op recovery, and emergency response are put to good use. Expect a fast-paced setting that values expertise in EPIC charting, dysrhythmia management, and ventilated patient care, with the added bonus that no open heart surgeries or liver transplants are part of the recovery scope.
