Job Description:

Join a Labor & Delivery/Postpartum RN team in Monroe, North Carolina for a travel contract built around LDRP and family-centered maternity workflows. You’ll work on an 18-bed LDRP unit with OB triage support (5 triage beds) and access to 2 OB ORs, supporting a busy volume of 40–65 deliveries per month. This role is for an RN who can confidently handle all phases of LDRP care, including circulating C-sections and newborn-related tasks such as heel sticks, 24-hour testing, NAS scoring, and lactation support—paired with the hands-on teamwork of a structured staffing model.

Expect a clear routine and real momentum: 12-hour day shifts (7a–7p) with an every-other-weekend rotation, no call, and a schedule cycle that rotates every 6 weeks. Orientation includes 2 departmental days plus unit training. If you’re ready to jump in, learn the local flow with EPIC, and deliver consistent, high-quality results in a teaching-focused community setting, this assignment offers meaningful variety with the support of charge nursing, case management, RT coverage, and in-house OB physicians.
